Drift Workbench · Flagship

Your AI agent is blind to the network. Fix that.

20 measurement tools your coding agent calls directly — throughput, bufferbloat, DNS ranking, jitter, packet loss, WiFi. Everything runs on your machine: no cloud, no accounts, no telemetry. And when something's wrong, Drift Workbench turns findings into evidence your ISP can't shrug off.

How it works

Three steps from "my internet feels slow" to a documented answer.

1

Install in seconds

One npx command for the MCP server, or one Homebrew cask for the desktop app.

2

Ask your agent

Tell your coding agent to run full_diagnostics. It measures, correlates, and explains — including when the honest answer is "inconclusive."

3

Get evidence

Export a timestamped report card — the recurring degradation, the likely cause, the numbers — ready to send to your ISP or IT team.

What Drift Workbench is not: an internet booster, a generic speed-test toy, or a fleet management platform. It detects recurring degradation, explains likely causes, and produces credible local evidence. That's the whole job.
02

What your agents can measure

All 20 tools through one MCP server. Real numbers, explicit confidence levels — never fabricated values.

Throughput

Single- and multi-stream download/upload with real headroom numbers — not a vanity speed score.

Bufferbloat

Latency-under-load grading. The problem most people blame on their ISP — correctly identified.

DNS ranking

Benchmark your resolvers and find the fastest one for your location.

Jitter & loss

Per-stream jitter and packet-loss measurement for calls and gaming.

WiFi survey

Signal, channel, and congestion info for your wireless environment.

Full diagnostics

One call runs the suite, correlates results, and summarizes with explicit confidence levels.

03

From numbers to proof

A speed test gives you a screenshot. Drift Workbench gives you a case: baselines over time, the recurring pattern, the likely cause — exported as a report your ISP has to answer.

Evidence your ISP can't shrug off

"Feels slow" gets you tier-1 support scripts. Timestamped measurements against a two-week baseline get you escalated.

FAQ

Which platforms are supported?

The desktop app is macOS-only (Apple Silicon and Intel, macOS 13+). The MCP server runs anywhere Node.js runs and works with any MCP-compatible agent harness.

Is my network data sent anywhere?

No. Drift Workbench is local-first: measurements run on your machine, history stays on your machine. There is no cloud account, no telemetry, no tracking.

How does the 14-day trial work?

The trial never starts by itself — it begins only when you explicitly start it. It's bound to your machine, so reinstalling can't extend it. When it ends, Pro features lock non-destructively: your data stays exactly where it was.

Will it make my internet faster?

No — and any tool that promises that is selling you something else. Drift Workbench finds and documents problems (bufferbloat, bad DNS, lossy routes) so you or your ISP can actually fix them.
