1MCP server — free
The fastest way to try Drift Workbench — your AI coding agent does the rest.
# run directly, nothing to install
npx -y @drift-workbench/mcp-server
To register it with Claude Code:
claude mcp add drift-workbench -- npx -y @drift-workbench/mcp-server
Then ask your agent: run full_diagnostics. It will measure, correlate, and explain — saying inconclusive when that's the honest answer.
2Desktop app — macOS
Menu-bar app with watch alerts, scheduled reports, and one-click ISP evidence exports. Requires macOS 13+ (Apple Silicon or Intel).
# via Homebrew
brew tap mubasharali24428-crypto/netmax
brew install --cask netmax
3Trial & license
- Free forever: basic diagnostics, limited history, and the full MCP server. No card, no account.
- 14-day Pro trial: unlocks watch alerts, scheduled reports, PDF report cards, exports, and deep history. It never starts by itself — you explicitly start it from the app, and it's bound to your machine, so reinstalling can't extend it.
- Founding license ($29): perpetual, one Mac, 12 months of updates & support. When a trial ends, Pro features simply lock — your data is never deleted or held hostage.
4Privacy
Drift Workbench is local-first: measurements run on your machine and history stays on your machine. There is no cloud account, no telemetry, and no tracking. The only network call the app ever makes on your behalf is the trial-license check, which sends a one-way hash of your machine — never identifiable hardware details.
5Troubleshooting
- Agent doesn't see the MCP server? Restart your agent/harness after registering it — most pick up new MCP servers only on launch.
- Trial won't start? Starting a trial needs one online check against the license server. If you're offline, it will wait until you're back.
- Something else? Email mubashar@mubasharbuilds.com — you'll reach the person who built it.
